/Artefact of Gesture is an ongoing physical and digital exploration looking at gesture as controller, object and narrative. The exploration stems from a small element from my exhibition 'In Touch In Ruin' where a ceramic grip moulded from my hand triggered the work. The idea of a small physical gesture unlocking an experience or story interested me to develop this line of thought further. 

This first experiment was created from physical moulds of my grip made in clay that were then scanned into these untextured digital forms. The work in this format displays the gesture as an archive, an archive of the body, of a moment, of a conscious act.
